that produce a series of shorts such as the BBC NEW MUSIC SHORTS, and CHANNEL
4/ UK FILM COUNCIL CINEMA EXTREME SCHEMES.
How can short films be distributed?
-Short films can be distributed online such as Youtube as if
films reach there, then it will soon spread like wildfire reaching many views
from the audience.
-Social networking sites such as Twitter
and Facebook will gain recognition of the film by releasing and spreading the
word of the film and by directing the link to social networking sites will automatically
gain lots of views as so much people use social networking sites.
-The internet also allows a range of
views and opinions on the feedback of the film.
-The Tv- If your short film is
of high quality, a television channel may screen it, especially if it fits into
a slot with other short films.
- The cinema- One of the hardest
place to get a short film screened, but cinemas also run short film festivals.
-Festivals- A great opportunity to
get your film on the big screen, watched by an audience of industry people and
by filmmaking peers.
