RISK ASSESSMENT FOR EQUIPMENT

EQUIPMENT	HAZARD	HOW MIGHT IT BE HARMED?	HOW WILL I PREVENT IT FROM HAPPENING?	Hazard rating out of 5
Lighting	-A risk of breaking the lighting equipment as we carry the lighting from location to location.	-The lighting could break such as the pole can snap if not properly looked after and carried.	-To prevent it from breaking there will be two people holding the lighting and carrying it the locations so if one person was carrying it they would find it heavy increasing the chance of breaking it.	4/5
Tripod	There is a hazard risk that the tripod gets knocked over whilst filming and damaging the tripod.	The tripod may be harmed because if you are placing the tripod in a classroom and near a door, when somebody enters the classroom they can accidentally knock it down not knowing it is there.	To prevent it from happening we will make sure there is a sign in a door in the classroom we film in to prevent people from   accidentally entering the classroom when we are filming.	3/5
Digital Camera	There is a hazard of us dropping the camera on the whilst the camera person is filming the action.	The camera may be harmed as the lens may break if the camera falls in the ground with great force.	To prevent the hazard from happening, the person in charge of filming must be careful at all times when filming with the camera and must be precautions.	5/5
Mic	There is a risk that the mic gets broken or damaged.	This risk can occur i somebody accidentally stamps on the mic and smashes it meaning it can no longer work.	n To prevent this hazard from taking place whoever is using the mic needs to be careful and hold the mic properly.	3/5
