Horror film titles!

The appearance of this horror film title if spooky due to the colours used, as there are deep and dark colours used to connote death and danger reflecting back to the horror genre. Moreover, There is a fade in of the horror film title as it first shows a blank black screen which then fades into the title. The fade in is done to create an Enigma Code as the audience are full of suspense and tense when they see a blank screen and suddenly the title pops up! The font of the title is big, bold and red with capital letters to signify how "Insidious" is threatening as the font size is massive taking up the whole screen. Moreover, there are flashing lights behind the text of "Insidious making the title stand out as it keeps shining and attracting attention from the audience. The background of the title is hard to tell what it is, but looks like a dark and mysterious forest that is abandoned and scary.

This is perhaps used to connote how the title "Annabelle" is reflecting to the aspect of child horror and a doll which young girls play with. This shows how dolls have two sides to them as dolls are portrayed as sweet and ininnocent an also have a dark side to them.This also translates in the title as the vintage wallpaper of being a dark navy colour goes against the typical pink wallpaper used in a child's bedroom suggesting that there is something wrong with "Annabelle".
